Scientific name: Tetraclines articulate

Description:
Coniferous tree indigenous to the Western Atlas mountains of North Africa.
The Greeks named it "Thua" meaning sacrifice, because they used an oil distilled from it as incense in their religious ceremonies.
Heartwood is reddish-tan with fine swirly grain and small dark "eyes".
Turns well and has an aromatic fragrance.
