Description: The color of freshly sawn heartwood ranges from bright yellow to golden yellow, darkening to a golden or reddish brown upon exposure to light. Grain is usually interlocked, resulting in a rather broad stripe; texture is medium to coarse, moderately uniform. Machines and finishes well.
